Unlucky For Arlington As Our U10 Majors Knock In 13

Caragh Celtic 13
Arlington 2

The first goal of the day came from Adam Fleming as he took charge of a messy situation and just rocketed the ball into the back of the net. Jacob then had two chances of his own narrowly denied by the keeper and the other one just rolling wide of the mark. He later on went to pass the ball beautifully to Ben and the Morrell lad’s shot was unlucky not to have found the mark.

Shane had a good few shots on target with Brian wearing his, ‘super defender’ shirt, flying back to rescue the ball from the attacking Arlington side, he then managed to get the ball to Luke for him to wriggle through a host of players and see his shot just go wide of the mark. Jacob then got a goal of his own as he blasted the ball into the bottom of the net.

Ben then managed to weave through the visiting side to get a goal of his own. Josh later got a great goal as he chested a corner kick into the Arlington net. He was then unlucky not to have scored again only minutes later. Jack then went on to show all how it is done as he weaved the ball through the Arlington midfield and defense and then stopped outside the box and chipped the ball beautifully into the top right hand corner.

Shane then had a heartache of a miss but then made up for it with a great goal from outside the box. Adam Fleming then followed suit and chipped the ball in for another goal. Keeper Josh later pounced on the ball to let the visiting side know whose ball it was! Ben then chipped the ball over the keeper for another goal. However, what looked to be a one sided affair turned out not to be the case as Arlington got a terrific goal from a free kick and then another one a minute later.

But it was Luke that burst back on to the scene with a great goal. Aaron then went on the slot the ball in from a Jack O’Neill cross. Jack then went on to vomplete his hat trick.  Aaron slotted in another goal for us from a great pass from Brian. Aaron then completed his hat trick with the last goal of the match and with that the final whistle was blown.
